MUSAE is both a network of primary and satellite artistic events
and a stable permanent project of promotion of the arts and
creativity with an high direct or indirect involvment of active
public.
\\ MUSAE is an
ethical project and eventual income is reinvested in the project
itself in order to increment opportunities for artists in
relation with the continuous growth of Musae, where arts of
various contemporary languages are taken into consideration
mostly in regards to the the artists more than the material
aspect of the artworks themselves; this is done to ingenerate a
beneficial social impact, considering arts as a vital mode of
expression and participation. cultural identity,
internationalization, diversity, integration, creativity,
innovation are elements of contemporary arts as promoted by
Musae.
\\ MUSAE brings the
arts (figurative, plastic, applied, electronic, performing arts,
including painting, photography, installation, sculpture, video,
multimedia, software driven, design, land art, body art,
illustration, music, etc..) and creativity among people outside
usual psychological and physical boundariese, promoting dialogue
between artists and artists with general public, helping to
create synergies creative communities as well as communities of
'institutional actors of development'. Social networking is
also intensively pursued in its real life meaning, as a human
network not limited to online connections.
\\ MUSAE is also a
think-tank and a host for other projects, events, labs and
educational happenings. Alongside Musae activity, particular
attention is also posed on creative education to the media and
the arts for younger people and kids. In such occasions
workshops as well as meetings are organised.
\\ MUSAE is
characterized by continuity, growth and dynamism and has reached
its 4° edition (+ 1 pilot edition) and its 5° year of successful
life.
\\ Alongside main
events and the attentio toward the digital community, MUSAE is
constantly territorilly present through local representatives
and referees, while keeping focus on the unity if the project
and strength of its objectives.
\\ MUSAE engages in
partnerships and stable collaborations with different
organisations and festivals in order to deeply achieve its
mission and increase visibility.
\\ MUSAE is born
thanks also to the collaboration and institutional sponsoring of
major italian Academies of Art, foundations and institutions. In
2008 has obtained the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural
Heritage and Activities. Recently has developed further
international ties, such as the artistic partnership with
Stranger Festival by European Cultural Foundation. Along others,
MUSAE has also actively collaborated in the realisation of
D.verCity Festival in the United Kingdom with the sponsorship of
The Art Council of England. A specific MUSAE project has been
also developed in the Lower Adriatic area favoring international
integration through arts; the festival simultaneously in the
south of Italy and the new Republic of Montenegro has benefited
of the patronage and collaboration of the Ministry of Culture of
Montenegro. Alongside the aforementioned implementations of
MUSAE, new international actions are in the lab, including new
collaborations at international level with organisations in the
UK, USA and the Middle East.
\\ MUSAE, to
maximize effectiveness and retain functional elasticity, is
formulated in a modular scalable way.
The following are
estimated numbers in relation to the last three years of
activity:

artists selectd on more than 1.000 finalists, - more than 100
exhibition locations, - more than 50 cities, - more than
100 satellite events, - more than 200.000 visitors, -
hundreds of articles on the press, - 300.000 local
mini-catalogues, -
15.000 posters, - 200.000 flyers, - 10.000 national
catalogues, - more than 1.000.000 website visitors, -
deep presence and keyword saturation on social networks, blogs,
web and web 2.0 in general.

In
short - characteristics of City Management:
MUSAE is a creation of City Management (company shared at 5% by
the National Union of City and Province General Secretaries)
that since 2005 has decided to dedicate ample part of its
structure and resources, staff and energy in MUSAE, an ethical
project where generated income is totally reinvested in order to
pursue its mission.
City
Management creates, implement, promotes cultural events of
artistic and musical nature, including: shows, exhibitions,
concerts, performances, live media, workshops, think-tanks and
more. For each event/festival/project C.M. manages and
coordiantes all components of the work flow connected to the
effective realisation and outcome of the festival, from the
concept and the provisional budget to the practical
implementation and final statements. C.M. has over the years
managed to limit any sort of outsourcing and caters in first
person for every element of the communication, including graphic
design, media contents, press office, artists management and
instituional relations; dissemination is a permanent activity.
City
Management does also function as bridge/interface between
private entities and local authorities, artists and the general
public; C.M. along with partner companies has experience in
events, but also in marketing strategies, editorial services and
business consultancy. Outside the MUSAE project has created
and manages a series of other formats (among those: VideoArt.EXE,
UpLink, Inhabited City, White Nights, various exhibitions,
concerts, live media events and workshops related to video), but
has also gained experience in business oriented services (among
some of the clients: Aem S.p.a. with the House of Energy, the
Lyric Theatre in Milan, Walt Disney, Tin, Emergency, British
Telecom and others). C.M. has also created and managed for a
year the free press 'It's Saturday'.
City
Management's workflow is based on actual competence and real
expertise more than strict hierarchy to assure higher dynamism
and motivation toward the shared objectives.

MUSAE is open to various forms of collaboration and branding in
a diverse set of ways. Solutions are discussed and implemented
in accordance with specific necessities of the sponsor. The

Sponsorship types:
MUSAE is grateful to welcome sponsorships of different entity
and modality. Sponroship levels are considered in a dynamic
scalable way in order to allow diversified solutions for the
sponsor at local/national/international level. Both financial
and in kind sponsorship are welcome.
Conduct: To allow sponsors to better evaluate the
efficacy of the campaign and eventually request specific
adjustments over time, MUSAE will be directly available for
sponsor's designated representatives and will provide detailed
feedback on request. We understand the integrating the image of
a brand/company to a project is a delicate matter under various
aspects both for the sponsor and the project, therefore we
believe in similarity of views in regards to the target audience
and at the same time for protecting sponsors and Musae's image
we will not be able to operate in regards to brands that are not
compatible with the ethical nature of the project.
