MUSAE 2010 & Application to the selection process

MUSAE - Experimental Urban Museum of Contemporary Arts – is a series of events and a permanent project born to rethink contemporary arts outside usual closed networks and psychological and physical boundaries.
Arts and creativity are taken into consideration and promoted as a creative peaceful mean of communication and participation with focus on artists more than artworks themselves still usually marketed and perceived as sterile goods.
Contemporary art in its diverse languages is also deeply connected to cultural identity, internationalization, diversity, integration, creativity, innovation.

Among art forms taken into consideration by MUSAE: figurative, plastic, applied, electronic, performing arts, including painting, photography, installation, sculpture, video, multimedia, software driven, design, land art, body art, illustration.

Emerging artists are selected by experts, exhibited, promoted and networked; international exchange is sought.

MUSAE is realized in collaboration with a wide series of institutions and entities by City Management, specialized over the years in implementation of major events and projects in the artistic and social field, uniting creativity, arts and music with the rediscovery and requalification of urban areas.

MUSAE has in 2010 again opened its doors for new artists for new exhibiting opportunities and events and submissions are now being accepted from artists of every nationality under the age of 35.
